Sportisa Association is proud to announce the National Taekwondo Championship 2026, to be held on Monday, 21 December 2026 at Ballygunge Arena, Kolkata. We invite taekwondo athletes, coaches, clubs and academies from across India to be part of this celebration of skill, discipline and sportsmanship.
True to our mission, the championship is open to athletes of every ability. Para taekwondo athletes are warmly welcomed, and we are offering participation support to selected underprivileged students.

Competition events
- Kyorugi (sparring) — Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior and Senior age groups, by weight category.
- Poomsae (forms) — Individual events across age groups.
- Para taekwondo — dedicated categories for athletes with disabilities.
Final age groups, weight categories and rules will be confirmed by the organising committee and shared with registered athletes.

What athletes should bring
- Valid age-proof document (original and a photocopy).
- Club / academy or coach authorisation letter, if applicable.
- Complete taekwondo uniform (dobok) and required protective gear.
- Parent or guardian consent for athletes under 18.
- Medical certificate of fitness, if requested by the organisers.

If you are a para athlete or a student who needs help to participate — with fees, travel or equipment — tick the support option in the registration form or contact us. Requests are reviewed individually.
